This morning I was informed by Allan Donovan of Alberta Transportation’s Professional Services section that Roseke Engineering has achieved pre-qualification for the category of “Design of Standard Bridges and Culvert Structures.” This is a milestone we at Roseke Engineering were striving for and we are very excited about it.
This is a “pre-qualification” for Alberta Transportation projects. It is not a project win. Rather, it allows us to work directly for the government of Alberta, on highway bridges. Previously, we worked primarily for counties and other road authorities, although Alberta Transportation was usually the primary funding partner.
In spite of the recent downturn in bridge work in Alberta, we are pleased to have secured some recent flooding repair (bridge washout) work, and now this news will prepare us to for future growth.
